I got my gauges installed:

http://www.s2000online.com/forums/showthre...?threadid=10934

I just got the car back, and had some questions. The boost gauge, according to the installer is only going up to 5 lbs, which he thought the SC was making 8lbs - anyone else got a measure? On the Exhaust Temp, before I left he said that I should only get concerned if the exhaust temp went up to 1,200 or above; it was at 1,300 when driving slowly in 4th. I got up to 1,400 in 6th gear cruising at 85. Anyone else got gauges? What are your readings? Installer also recommended contacting Comptech to see what they have on their readings.

Wesmaster,
What is the unit of your exhaust temp gauge?
F or C?
1400C seems too high.

I believe the SC was suppose to put out 6psi. 1400 seems awfully high for that EGT. Running to rich or lean? what does the Air/Fuel show your at?

I agree with turbo_pwr, your EGT's are very high. I know in my Eclipse ( I know it's not an S2000) that around 900 is the target range and if it read 1400 my Eclipse wouldn't be long for this world.

I called the installer today. He said it's high, but not anything I should be scared about. He just said I needed to call Comptech and see what they say. He felt that they might recommend "bigger injectors".

Wes, I strongly suggest you contact Mike at Comptech and check to see what they record on their car. Considering the low level of boost 5-6psi of the SC, I'd imagine that bigger injectors aren't necessary, especially if you state the car is in the rich section of the gauge at WOT. Not sure what is the temp at idle? Also would you mind taking a picture of where the sensors for the air/fuel and EGT are mounted/tapped.

Wes, the red is intake air temp sensor, the green look like manifold pressure (boost).
