ground wire (w/ pic)

Default ground wire (w/ pic)

ok right now im installing the motor into the car. problem is its been like 2 months since i took it out and i barely remember what happened last week, lol. so my question is where does the other end of a ground wire go? just need to know where it connects.... i just cant remember it lol


*for reference to what ground wire i am talking about go to page 5-10 in the shop manual step 15 cable "c"

It goes to a spot on the block, low drivers side by the transmission.

There's another ground wire right next to it that goes from the engine to the subframe.

You can just about see it in this pic, next to the bottom end of the black intake support bracket.

Random question. If those two ground cables (at the bolted mounted point) were to be bolted together instead of separately, would this cause a problem? I ask because I run a K series and it doesn't have those to bolt holes to mount the two grounding cables there. I instead bolted them both down together right around that area.

As long as it is a solid grounding point and you make sure all the connections are good and clean it should be fine. It does not hurt to have the two grounded at the same spot as long as those things are met.
