Hard to shift into any gear! HELP
 

05' S2000 60kmiles ( stage 2 act clutch and flywheel ) ( ATS carbon LSD ) (5psi Comptech supercharged)


ok, I left my house and was driving down the street when i left something at my house so i did a U turn, 1st gear, got on the car, redline 1st, tryed to slam it in 2nd twice but dint go! no grinds tho, just dint go! Right after that, it was very hard to shift into any gear and reverse is very very hard to put in! When car is off reverse is alittle bit easier! When the car is in nuetrual there is NO noise! try to put it in any gear and there is a small quiet sound coming from the transmission the whole time it is in gear. I drove the car today and you can still drive the car fine, just very hard to put in any gear, gotta kinda jam it in! I put the car on a HILL, and turn the motor off, put it in first gear, released the clutch and then pused the clutch in and the car rolls down the hill but it makes a werid sound. With the car in nuetural and rolling down the hill, it dont make nosie! Please help me out before i buy a transmission for my 05 S!

Just got done jacking the rear up and putting the car in 1st gear with the Clutch pushed IN and the rear wheels spin! is that normal?

Sounds like the clutch is not disengaging.

So how can i tell if thats right?

we work on s2ks as mechanics... ive seen this in over 2 s2ks that guys come in and they have exedy clutches or some other types of brands.. depending on the clutch and flywheel they always cause problems later down the road, stick to the original as it is more than good enough as we have a turbo charged s2k running 550hp easily sityting on a standard clutch and flywheel... sounds like ur selector might have a problem due to hard driving and cant put the car into gears...
