Hard time starting after injector cleaning
I recently had the smoking problem that i posted a little while back and while tightening down all my manifold I took my injectors and had them ultrasonic cleaned by a shop in KC. The car ran fine before and never had a problem starting but now i have to turn the car over for 3 or 4 seconds before it will start. 1 in 10 starts it will start right up but the rest i have to sit there and hold down the button. Any ideas of what it could be? The injectors are the only real different variable since it would start fine. I do have Kpro so i don't know if that could have a hand in it.

I had the same issue when I had mine cleaned.
You basically removed all pressure from the fuel system and possibly added some air to it. It should work itself out over the next week.

Only lucas oil fuel treatment or NEW injectors. Dont get them cleaned...too many post-cleaning failure. If anything, replace the fuel filter on the pump if your fuel injectors get clogged enough to warrant a replacement.

I hate the necro thread, but I'm having this same exact issue. Had fuel injectors professionally cleaned and now it's hard to start especially on a cold start. It cranks hard and then just finally catches and starts. She does idle and perform great, and my puffing from exhaust sound is gone, as is the popping sound I felt in my butt dyno.
@Mullallyman @steven975 did you issue go away over time?
I keep reading two schools of thought, one is that cleaning injectors is a 50/50 gambit and can cause more problems then resolve, the other is that cleaning injectors is fine.
Other then getting a fuel pressure gauge and adapter from Honda (almost $150 total), is there any other low cost ways to determine what the issue is here?
