Default !!!help!!! Calling All S2ki Mechs

I'M STARTING TO GIVE UP ON MY S2K...I CAN'T SEEM TO FIND OUT WHAT IS GOING ON WITH MY S2K! FIRST THE CEL COMES ON JUST OUT OF THE BLUE LIKE TWO WEEKS AGO. WHILE DRIVING ON THE HW ON MY WAY HOME. (THAT DRIVE WAS FINE). THE NEXT MORNING THE DRIVE WAS ROUGH AS HELL, AT ALMOST EVERY RED LIGHT I STOP AT THE ENGINE WOULD CHOKE AND DIE. I ALSO NOTICE THAT WHEN MY GAS PEDAL WENT PASS A CERTAIN AREA (REFERING TO FULL THROTTLE THE CAR) IT WOULD JUST STALL UNTIL IT WOULD HIT VTEC RANGE AND THEN IT WOULD KICK BACK IN TO POWER. I WAS SCARED SOMETHING WAS WRONG WITH THE CAR SO I SKIP WORK AND TOOK IT STRAIGHT TO THE DEALER. THE TECH CHECK IT (BEHIND THE SCENE) HE CAME BACK TO ME AND SAID ITS YOUR 02 SENSOR. I WAS LIKE FINE. I ORDER THE DAMN PART PUT THAT BABY ON AND STILL THE SAME SHIT.

MY CAR HAS NO MOD PUT ON! JUST PLAIN STOCK!

I CHECK THE MAP SENSOR!
CHANGE OIL/SPARK PLUG
CHANGE O2 SENSOR
WHAT MORE?

THANK AHEAD TO ALL WHO REPLY

Check the CAPS LOCK key while you're at it.

I had a similar issue with a motorcycle. The rectifier/regulator would fry itself out every 4 months (and caught on fire once). After this would happen the bike wouldn't start or if it would it would die under 6K rpm.

Turned out to be a loose electrical connector between the alternator and the R/R. The battery would die and the bike would soon follow.

Did they check your battery or alternator?

sleeper, there are so many possibilities. Since your car is stock and if you have a valid waranty you should take it back to the dealer again. There are a few things you could do that have seemed to help in the past. Make certain the gas cap is secured. Use a rubber or plastic small hammer to tap the map sensor gently once it is unplugged and plug it in again. Also try reseeting the ECU and check all connections (MAP, IAT, O2) and vacuum lines too. Unfortunately the slightest changes or loose connection can cause such a disturbance. I have experienced similar encounters and used my OBDII scanner to read the signal the eliminate the concerns with continuity and voltage testers. Sorry I could not offer anything more solid.
