Default Help! Harmonic balancer/crank pulley moves on 139k ap1?

I just bought the car last week and as I was changing the old belt due to cracking/squealing, I saw that the new oem belt was starting to ride off the belt tensioner (not completely, only one rib of the belt). I went to investigate which pulley and turns out the be the crank pulley is pushing outwards abit. What is making the crank pulley do that? Due to age? Or what I asked the last owner and he said he never replaced it. Need some advice please

You need a new crank pulley. It's been known to happen on Honda crank pulleys, the outer ring breaks loose from the elastomer damper.

UPDATE - ordered a new crank pulley from Honda, unfortunately it's 3-4 days out, meanwhile this is what's going on with the current pulley. I drove to work and on my lunch break, going to start my s2k I hear the belt ripped so I quickly shut off the car. You guys think epoxy or jb weld will fix this temporary until I drive 20 miles home?

Possibly, but you shouldn't have driven it to work!

Thanks, for the follow-up photos. Never seen this before. I guess the slipping belt caused enough friction to melt the bond between the rubber and main pulley? Just goes to show you how important a good-working accessory belt is.
