Any codes at all? Did you try a hard ECU reset?

Have seen this before on DBW cars, cured with a TB.

Thank you everyone for your input. Much appreciated and always impressed by the S2K community.

I called LHT Performance today and spoke with John who was awesome. Looks like the car will have to undergo lots of testing.

I went to the dealership who sold me the car and the tech disclosed to me today that when the car came to them, it had a test pipe on it.
They removed the test pipe and installed a catalytic convertor from NAPA. The tech expressed some concern that it might be a low-quality
cat because the dealership did not want to put an OEM one on. I told him my problems and we are riding on probably some false hope that
it might help if we replace it with a OEM one. He sourced one from a friend who is bringing in a few days for free.
He drove the car today was like "It is bad, it hesitates intermediately but on full throttle it is fine"

TB? Throttle body? Replacement? Cleaning?

It's either the pedal position sensor or the throttle body actuator itself.

If this hesitation is at low RPM, I saw a thread about it. I think that the solution was to replace the throttle position sensor. Only happens on the DBW cars ('06 and later).

seems unlikely to be the cat. you would most likely throw a code if there was an issue with the cat. but good luck.

Have an 06, had this same problem. I fixed it by installing a new APP. Runs perfect now, zero hesitation.

Here's the part # I replaced: Part No.: 37971-PZX-003
Sensor Assy., Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor

It would be nice to hook up a picoscope to the TPS signal and see the graph if it reveals any glitches.
