Huh?

Was referring to my recent thread on finding out my rear vibration was a broken tooth off a 4.57 pinion gear.

Alright guys.

I have decided to get new bearings and hubs for all four corners. Hopefully this will solve the problem. It's getting worse so I have to do something about it now.

Are there any aftermarket pieces I can use to upgrade the hub/bearings with? I honestly don't see how it could be upgraded but I have been surprised. Please help me out with this.

If not, please let me know where I can order these pieces with a good discount as I went to the Honda dealer and they quoted my close $600 for parts alone.

Thanks in advance.

Save the $$$ and just have the inside CV cups swapped. No need to replace every damned thing...

ahh ok, i wasnt sure if you were saying that my problem may have been a diff since the cv swap didnt do anything for my problem. I have stock gears though.

Well, your problem may be the diff as well.

Before you replace all the hubs / bearings / CV joints, put it up on a lift and run it. Have the mechanic locate where the vibration noise is coming from. Replace that part first.

I have tried running it on jackstands and using a stethescope... but couldnt pinpoint anything. Maybe if I can get it on a lift again, I can tr to pinpoint it.

Before I try that:

I was told by someone that this shaking could be due to a worn/faulty/shot motor mount. Does this seem likely??

I want to add that the vibrating goes away will not accelerating. There is very minimal/no vibration while at a steady speed or slow acceleration.

If at 'normal'/moderate acceleration and the engine is revved beyond a certain RPM (~4200), in any gear, it goes away. In addition, if I am at low speeds and upshift (and accelerate normally/moderately) it gets really bad (again, under ~4200 RPM).

All help is greatly appreciated.
