! HELP ! S2000 water plumbing
Hello everyone,
I was wondering whether there was any S2000 experts on here that could help me with a technical query? Alternatively, perhaps an S2000 owner would be kind enough to take a quick look under their bonnet so that they could answer the following questions?
I am building a S2000-powered Mk2 Escort for tarmac rallying, and need someone to tell me where the standard water pipes run. My car is running Jenvey throttle bodies rather than the stock inlet systems, (and no heater), so the plumbing wont be quite standard....
The picture below shows the water outlet on the nearside/rear of the head (back of inlet manifold). I know where the main outlet goes, but dont know where the two smaller ones (one pointing towards camera, the other ponting towards the block) go.....
Also, on the nearside (behind alternator), can someone please tell me where the small outlet (that has the paper stuffed in it) should feed....
Many thanks in advance!!!!

Paul...top pic is "A", bottom "B".
Inlet A-left goes to the water pump/thermostat housing shown in B. Goes to the inlet behind the red insulated hose (looks like some yellow paper stuffed in there).
Inlet A-right (with the bend) goes to the heater (will you need a heater?).
Inlet B-lower left also goes to the heater.
Good luck with your swap and we want pics and vid of you rallying the car!!
Also...just curious...what ecu are you going to use?

Thats really a great help - thankyou!!
So, but the sounds of things, I can do a straight pipe between the left outlet on Pic A and the rear outlet on Pic B. That should be easy enough as they are both the same diamter....
I wont be using a heater, but would prefer to joing the "in" and "return" heater pipes to retain the same water flow characteristics as the standard car (to avoid hotspots, retain reliability etc). Only downside is that one pipe is 13mm i/d and the other is 16mm i/d. Never mind, I'll get a redcuing pipe made up I think......
BTW I'm using a Racetech Developments ECU....

Thanks again!!
