Default Highest mileage S2K?

Who here has the highest mileage car? Or have you seen one with what you think is the most and if so how many miles?

Ever seen one with 300k miles?

There is someone here with more than 300k. Only on its second clutch, whichbwas only recent, and onky because bearing went, disk was still good. Most parts still original, still runs strong.

There was once a post from Craigslist of a fs S with near 400k miles. A little rough around the edges, but still in good shape overall.

Perhaps the most remarkable thing about these cars is although they bested virtually all others in power/liter in their day, they're still as reliable as any other Honda.

Try that with a Ferrari...

Im not shocked at all. The Fseries motor is basically the peak of the 90's Honda engines and the Bseries, Dseries, Hseries were always reliable as hell.

Do you think K is more reliable than F?

if your engine blows will you rebuild or do a motor swap? Another F series swap? LS?

How much power you figure you've lost over the years? Any major issues or major parts replaced?

Car Analogy is referring to my car. My '03 currently has 397,000 miles. It's parked until the weather gets better. No engine work except valve adjustments and new coil packs. Still using the original AP1 valve retainers too. It runs great.

Damn impressive! Stock clutch? Stock timing chain? How many TCT's have you replaced?

I would be interested in your fluids and maintenance schedule used too.

I replaced the original clutch at 330,000 miles due to a frozen throwout bearing. The clutch plate itself wasn't even close to being worn out. Still on original timing chain and TCT without any problems.

I installed an Amsoil dual remote bypass filter and an electric prelube pump when the car was almost new, and have extended my oil change intervals to 40,000 miles.
