Default Hot Start Issue

Good morning, wanted to provide a long overdue update as a point of reference if anyone has a similar problem in the future. Per the previous post here, the car experienced what I can describe as a hiccup while driving, stalled and would not start immediately. After checking out what I could on the side of the road, the car started up after a period of time. Between now and then, the only lasting symptom is a hot start issue, such as if I stopped to get gas, where the vehicle will only start if I wait a period of time longer than a few minutes, or apply full throttle while cranking. Since February, I have changed ECUs from a V1 AEM to a V4 Kpro, replaced the fuel pump, replaced the fuel regulator, replaced the injectors, replaced the starter, and replaced the battery. Even before those component replacements, the engine cranked strongly while attempting to start, it just never fired up. That symptom hasn't changed. While running and after the initial non/hard start, nothing seems out of the ordinary and the engine runs well, no CEL reported and the A/F displayed from the RSX wideband working with the Kpro is spot on with what the tune is calling for. I'm out of ideas and searching through previous posts on this board, the people experiencing similar issues resolved them with one of the parts I've already replaced.

Any updates on the issue? I am having the same problem. I replaced everything you have stated as well. It has forced me to drive to point a and b only and no stops in between because I am afraid it might not start on me as it has to sit for at least 20-30 minutes before I can fire it up again.

I bought a crankshaft position sensor as it’s the absolute last thing I can think of that could cause this issue but I haven’t installed it yet so I can’t confirm that it’s the fix. Will update this thread when I finally get around to installing it.
