Angry Idle goes between 1200-2200 rpm

I had my Intake manifold ported by a good friend and i fitted a BDL 70mm TB and a Hondata gasket..

After this, the car runs like a champ and throttle response is simply amazing, car pulls alot more agressively!

The Problem:

When driving and hitting the clutch, the rpms drop until 2200 RPM and stays at 2200 rpm unless the car comes to a stop or UNDER 6Kp/h..

The car's Idle when standing still OR driving UNDER 6Kp/h is 1200RPM...

I find it very odd that when coming from 6++ KP/h and as soon when my cluster reads BELOW 6kp'h the rev's immediatly drop to 1200 rpm.. if let go of the clutch and speed the car up to 7kp'h and drop the clutch i get the 2200rpm's again...

I already let the car re-learn it's idle again with the help of the manual but with no succes..

Besides the idle problem the car runs good, but it's a bit annoying that my car idles to high...

Who can help?

you have a vacuum leak of some sort..check your gasket for cracks..did you try to turn the idle screw down??

I would guess TPS. Also is it like super cold there. If your Idle Air control valve isnt working it would cause this to.

im 80% sure its a vacc leak. check your hoses and PCV valve lines..(most likely to crack)

I turned the idle screw also down so the butterfly is closed by the housing and not the touch of the idle screw so that's not causing the problem..

Hmm, does a vac leak also explain that the 1200 OR 2200 rpm idle speed is directly connected with the vehicles speed ( under 6 and above 6kph? )

Im trying to clean the IACV today.

Thanks for the help so far!

It might be the idle air system. There is no room for a seal between the idle air hole and the main bore.

I ended up welding in the hole a little to allow enough mating surface.
