This might be related to the IAC valve. Do a search

not if it wasn't acting up before the TB was put on.

I would rule out the TB by putting back the old one and it still did it.

It could have been damaged in the reinstall.

changed the butterfly too?
If you are speaking of the TB Butterfly, why would I change it? It came with the new TB. I will be working on it later today to see if I can find the problem.

If you have not done an idle relearn I would do that first.
Reset ecu, let set for a minute, reconnect and let the car idle for 5 minutes.
If this does not fix it then you have an unmetered air leak past the throttle plate. Did you use a new TB gasket?
If you adjust the screw on the throttle plate to close it more it may fix it but you also may be covering up for another air leak.

Start with the idle relearn and come back and let us know.
good luck

I have tried the relearn & that did nothing as a matter of fact I tried it twice. My next move is to check for a air leak. I did replace the gasket. When I mounted the map sensor I also took the O ring from the old TB and put it into the new TB. Could the TP sensor be installed wrong or could it have gone bad. If so where can I get a new one?

Does anyone have any other suggestions as the engine is really ideling way to high and I am starting to get concerned.

I really need some help with this

Id vote air leak personally. Some of those bolts are a PITA to torque down and can come loose. Happened to me on my swap but no air leak oddly enough..

i think the screw below(brass flathead screw) is your idle screw. Tighten it turning clockwise, see what happens.
