I have an 07 S2K and I am having a strange issue happening with the A/C. I have searched the boards and have not found anything similar from anyone else. The noise happens intermittently with no pattern, but only when the A/C is on. The noise comes from the dash area and it sounds a bit like a tornado. Does anyone have any ideas what this may be?

heyyy I think I have the same issue as you my 03 w/130000 miles....does the noise go away when you push in the clutch? I hear this strange loud noise when I turn on the AC..it seems to come from the front passenger area. Sorry dont mean to hijack your thread.

 

I think mine is different, it is not loud...just a very subtle tornado/wind blowing noise.

yea i get a whirling sound. but thats prolly cause the A/C is kicking in. im not worried.

 

i get the same sound every now and then. it happens for like a sec then goes away

 

I get the same sound here....my wife and I always laugh when it happens....its definitely A/C related. Sounds like a whoosh and almost and audile booooop sound at times lol

 

It looks like I am not alone! My wife was like WTF was that? I said I have no idea, it just does that every once in a while.
