Default Lightweight Pully kit

I wanted to see if anybody has done this mod, and if so, have you seen an increase in your RWHP? Also, have you noticed any difference on the engine?

I have the kit. I noticed the engine was a bit more responsive, but I didn't notice a difference in the power. I'd guess 1 or 2 hp is what you'd get. I didn't do a before dyno for this since it is such a small increase it isn't worth the dyno time IMO. I do like how the engine feels now, seems to rev a bit easier and quicker, next step is a lighter flywheel.

I would say no horsepower gain, just making the work the "horse" has do do eaiser. So yes, acceleration, or rev building should happen faster. This is why motorcycles are so fast.

Thanks for the info, I agree that it will not increase actual HP, but I would think that it would get a few more to the wheels.

also, the power gain (if any) would probably fall into the error percentage on any dyno and be irrelevant......

The pullies should increase your torque reading similar to a lightened flywheel but less. I think Prolene's torque readings went up with the pullies. There is a thread in under the hood about his dyno on 5/14.
