LS Swap S2K - Questions to get started
Let's begin with the fact I get the car back car back from the paint shop tomorrow. The entire car took a month to complete, but it is all dent free, and scratch free. I purchased the car from a single owner in Arizona. It is a very nice example of a '07 LBP. I'v done some other swaps before, mainly JZ series engines and I am ready for a new challenge. My goal for the car is to start with a LS1 T56 combo and begin time attack racing since my passion has always been truly driving.
What I am looking to get out of this thread are links to threads people would or have found to be the most benefit to them, possibly begin to find motor mounts (not the Import Muscle kit) I want the mounts which can go to the subframe, not the strut towers, and general chat. I am also selling off the F22C, trans, and dif, so everything that I will not be needing will be going. Let's keep the BS comments out please, we all know swapping an LS1 into an S2000 is against the rules of the Gods.
When I begin my build thread I will have a step by step of everything I do. Why not? Everyone starts somewhere and my hope is to give as much information as possible to help anyone with their projects.
