Default Mugen Intake verus J's Racing Intake?

Which produces more power? Does anyone out there have dyno charts? Thanks.

I had both and never did any dyno. I can tell you though the J's Racing CAI felt a bit more peppy than the Mugen. But all in all no big difference over OEM...

My guess would be that the "peppy" ness that J'sAP1 is refering to is due to the enlarged chamber in the piping (the "bulge"). This design is supposed to improve throttle response somewhat

Just my 0.02 tho.

I'd go for the J's for cost reasons alone.

its a shame. i orderd the J's just cause it looks so good and i already have there exhaust so i belive in there products. but its such a minimal gain in power. i feel like i would be better off just keeping my aem...... nahhhhhhhh the J's is ing hot!

i'm in the same boat as you. i love my j's racing exhaust.

the only difference in my situation is that i can't go back, 'cause i already sold my aem.

i've been in the middle of installing my j's intake for about a week now, 'cause i can't get the screw spacer that goes onto the subframe into the hole. if anyone's got advice on this, please do help me so i can take my car to the local meet next week .

edit: i got the bolt in just now!

no it does not come with the silencer. the exhaust also doesn't have the little screw hole for the silencer. you must drill it yourself. i havn't tried to buy one so i would guess your best bet would be bulletproof. but the N1 exhaust has been discontinued so if your looking to get this exhaust you might want to jump on it and get one. but the fact that it doesn't even have the hole for the exhaust shows J's is all about racing!
