multi meter and spark plug?
to test spark plug/coil plug combo:
1)remove coil plug from valve cover
2)remove spark plug from cylinder head
3)insert spark plug back into removed coil
4)plug in coil connector
5)grasp spark plug near electrode and hold it near chassis ground
6)have assistant crank engine
results:
if you yell "HOLLY MOTHER F**&^G GOOD GOD THAT HURTS!!!!"
then the spark plug is good.
if you dont yell anything then you have problem where the spark plug is not getting spark.
ok, by now you should realize i'm just talking BS.
heres the real answer:
theres really no way to test a spark plug.
the coil plug i belive you check the resistance of it through the connector.
the actual numbers of a good coil and bad coil i do not know.
this is where a repair manule will help you step-by-step.
