Need help identifying cable behind valve cover
Hello, can someone help me identify the function of this cable? It comes off the bundle of wires behind the valve cover. Engine is from an '07.

Doesn't look like it comes off of that bundle, and the only ring terminal back there is a straight one: Terminal G101... That's the engine ground via engine wire harness cable.. It bolts to the back of the engine.... But I can see that one is hooked up in your photo, so it's not that..
...EDIT: OK strike that, didn't see how long you said it was. My sense of scale is all messed up. It's the main under-hood fuse box cable. Terminal T101 in the diagram. Ref No. 1 in the illustration i'm about to upload.
I circled the wire path in red. I'll upload a photo of the routing later if you need it. I just looked all over my car and the diagrams, and I'm 99% certain.
To confirm, please take a wider-angle photo.

Here's a better angled shot. Sorry for the bad light, car is stuck in the garage, working on making a bracket for the ac-compressor...moving it to the passenger side . Thank you again!

Yep, that's definitely the one.
Good luck with the swap!
Moving that AC compressor to the pax side... Just thinking about it seems like a nightmare of fouling issues.
