Default New Koyorad Radiator install leak

Hello s2ki, I have recently installed a Koyorad due to my stock one having some cracks. I flushed the coolant out and added new Honda Type 2 coolant. I burped the system using a combination of Billman's method and a spill-proof funnel (took about an hour and a half). Drove the car for about 3 miles and I am now experiencing a minor leak near the top radiator hose. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

p.s radiator stays were removed since coolant somehow got under there.
AP1 -107k miles.

That seal is busted. Did you buy this brand new?

Yup purchased it brand new. Came sealed inside a koyorad box and branded bag (also sealed). Any idea as to what that particlpar part is for? Also would it be okay to just cover it up with a sealant if not used for anything?

Remove the allen plug, and reseal it with Teflon tape.

Make 5 complete revolutions around the plug with the tape.
