new serious brake upgrade... sound interesting

I am currently talking to a company(not saying who yet) about a serious upgrade for the S.I strongly beleive it will be a lot better than the brembo upgrade now. price is not known as of yet. If at least ten people are interested seriously..its going to go on from there. So let me know what you think. I am serious about this!

Im curious as to the specs, I am in the process of getting Ti based rotors and calipers made, about 40lbs lighter in a complete set. But the best part is larger rotors with the stock wheels they will be something like 12.4"
Very expensive Ti alloy that is immune to the common problems associated with Ti and high heat.
Good luck with your project, I am interested.

I have also changed fluid and added cooling. In fact adding the ducts was the first thing I did to the car aftermt pedal went soft at an autocross. Its just something I am into. there is nothing like really good brakes on a track. (esp when its your street car also) I know these are good brakes, but there is always room for improvement. I ll take CDL as a no!

Are you talking about a "kit" - rotors, calipers, S.S. lines, etc? I am interested even if only rotors (drilled or slotted). I was going to get the brembo kit, but there was not sufficient clearance for the calipers with the aftermarket wheels I got.

Looking at rotors and calipers........And Mdig. you where "closer" onthe second of the two choices. I have received an e mail back from them saying that they could do batches of ten and basiclly do them to whatever demensions we give them.

Well, if you can get me some ceramic matrix rotors that I can use with the stock wheels I'd be interested. And some 2 piston low-profile calipers with good heat shielding for the fluid too. I'd be willing to pay $2000-$3000 for such an item (front only even) because I'd never have to replace the rotors again!
BTW, this is what's on Porsche's new 911 Turbo. It's a $10,000 option for a full set, but I'd imagine with our smaller rotors and just a front only upgrade we'd be fine. Maybe add bigger stock rotors in the back to maintain brake bias.
