No cylinder head side cover

Default No cylinder head side cover

My car has no Cylinder head side cover and no bolt hole to put it on... Anyone have any idea why it might not? and is it ok?

If your car is a 2000-2005, you will get a code P0411 constantly.

That passage allows air into the exhaust from the air pump.

if the head is from an 06+ engine it does not need that.

If you need it and dont have it, you will have exhaust leaks since the ports for the air injection go right into the exhaust ports.

There should be a vin tag on the back of the head, the 10th digit tells you the year.

What year is your car? Do you have the head off or is it on the car?
