No start after engine swap

Does it start if you unplug the crank sensor?

Yeah I know this, for the OEM ones. Thought he may have gone with aftermarket wiring with his swap.

No it behaves the same

i'm really thinking its a mechanical timing problem but the marks are all aligned

i wish i had my haltech still to try and start it with

What is the bad code with the AP2 ECU telling you ?

it was the CEL for a bad ecu, like P0167 or something i forget

P1607 EGM/PGM Internal Circuit Failure A
may be check the plugs & wiring then,if not done already to make sure a spade has not been pushed out.
Other than that I am stumped !!

swapped crank position sensors and both cam sensors from my other motor

still not firing

pulled valve cover for the 8th time and verified TDC with a socket extension and the two cam marks and the white crank pulley marks are all where they should be.

-Key off
-Turn key on, note status of CEL over a 45 second period, noting what happens around 25-30 seconds

Post the sequence...

Ex: CEL on for two seconds, then off, then flashes xxx at 25 second mark, etc.

What year is the car, does the engine have the proper crankshaft trigger wheel for the current ECU?
