Default Is this Normal Noise after Valve Adjustment

Hello, I have just recently purchased a Spa Yellow AP1 with 150k on the car. It ran and drive great when I brought it home. After doing research i decided I should look into inspecting the retainers to make sure they were not damaged and doing a valve adjustment. I didn't pay attention to the engine noise much before (rookie mistake). After getting everything back together I can hear some ticking noise which is of course normal but I am unsure if it should be this loud? I am linking two videos, please let me know if this is normal or if it needs to be better adjusted!

Thanks!

Sounds pretty loud, maybe double check your adjustment. Kind of sounds like an exhaust leak though a little.

Two of my exhaust valves were a little tight when I did this year's VA.

I do notice more valve noise now but always remember, quiet valves are the ones to worry about

I think your engine sounds fine valve train wise, mine is pretty close to yours actually.

How many miles are on your TCT?

When you held the throttle at the end of the 2nd video, I imagined hearing your timing chain tensioner rattle a bit, but I might be wrong

Alright, just installed a new Billman's TCT and I still have some noise that doesn't sound right to me.

Here is the video, you can really hear it when I hold the RPM at a certain point

Stock header, not sure on exhaust but there's no cat, it's a single exit that's angled super far to the right.

Just verified it isn't a bearing or anything by removing the serpentine belt, noise is still there.

If you listen closely at 13 seconds you can hear a faint knocking maybe?

If you don't want to take the oil pan off to check for knock, an oil analysis should clear things up just as well.

Can you hear it driving or only with engine bay open?

If you can hear something while driving, is it louder/worse under load vs. decelerating in gear?

I can hear it when I am driving, it seems to only be in lower RPM or it is still there and I just can't hear it due to my exhaust. I notice it when I am up against other cars or buildings. Sounds just like a stuck lifter I had on my 3000gt VR4.
