OEM Steering wheel wiring issue (horn)
I have an 08 CR and the horn has never worked.. but it's a dedicated autox car so I've never really cared or looked into it. The OEM steering wheel was chewed up from the previous owner (among many other things).. so I bought a better condition OEM to replace it with.
problem is.. once I pulled the wheel off, I realized the brown wire was disconnected from the SRS wiring harness (see photo 2). I would like to reinstall since I have it off... so does anyone have an idea which slot the brown (horn) wire goes into? (see photo1)
From the research I've done.. it does appear to go into the cruise control wiring portion, which is the blue/red/gray one. You can't just plug it in... it needs soldiered. So before I do that.. I would like to know definitively. Side note: there are no markings as to which slot it came from, I've literally looked with a magnifying glass.. lol.
