Oil filter diameter
Thanks for the help in advance. I am trying to remove the oil filter and can't get it off. I bought one of those 6-in-1 wrench deals that attaches to a rachet and it doesn't work. Does anyone know the exact diameter of the oil filter so that I can buy one in the right size? Or am I better off getting a normal oil filter wrench? Any suggestions is appreciated.

I am trying to get one of those sockets, but I have no idea what the mm diameter is. Thanks for helping X-Viper, I am using your write up to perform my first oil change on the car. Got everything else figured out, just stuck here.

Go to the local Honda dealer and order part #15400-PCX-305,
this contains one oil filter and the socket-type wrench you need.
Believe it or not the cost is only marginally more than the filter
alone. The Honda oil filter is nominally 80mm in diameter and has
15 flats.
