Default Oil leak... from the oil pan or somewhere else?

Helo all. Could you take a look at these pics and tell me if you think it's just my oil pan or something else? I think I see some oil around my vtec solenoid. Not sure. I tried to take pics from different angles but it was really dark out so they're not great. Let me know.

Looks like it's your oil filter.

I'm going to try pressure washing off this section of the engine and determine where it's coming from. I'm hoping it's something simple.

Oil is dripping from the oil filter. Its loose or the vtec solenoid is leaking just above the filter

Agreed, change your filter and install an OEM filter.

It looks like my oil filter tried to walk off. Is there a way to keep it in place?

I came across an oil filter "holder" that supposed to keep it from moving. Does anyone use these and your thoughts on them?

If you use the OEM filter and torque it correctly (hand tight is not enough) you shouldn't need one of those holders but I guess it doesn't hurt either.

For my previous cars, I was told that hand tight was enough or I could damage the gasket. Is it different for this car? How much to torque it down?

Yes this car is different since there is metal to metal contact when filter is torqued down.
The specifications are printed on the OEM filter, I think it's 7/8 turn or 22Nm.
You should be glad that you found this early, it could have cost you the engine.
