Default Oil Seepage on valve cover & around spark plugs

Do you guys know what the problem is here, given the pictures? Any insight would help!

Looks like a little oil is getting around my spark plugs too.

This is the front most bolt on the valve cover, just in front of cylinder 1.

Look around the nuts... a little oil...

Thanks guys!

Could be bad piston rings or kinked/bad rubber seals.

has your valve cover been removed before? looks like it was removed and installed w/o installing new valve cover/bolt/spark plug seals. if that's all it is, should be a easy & cheap fix. it's usually recommended to replace those rubber seals every time the valve cover is removed.

^ I agree. I had this problem with my tC and the gasket was bad and oil came up into the spark plug cylinder. Anyways on the s2000 you would need a gasket kit for the valve cover and gaskets are seperate for the spark plugs. But that's what I would check.

Awesome. Thanks!!! I've searched online for replacement seals but couldn't find any. Is there anywhere else to get them besides the dealer?

Appreciate the help! I love S2Ki.

about 26 dollars at the dealer for your seal kit.

Not sure if the PCV valve has been changed. Would you recommend changing it? Is it difficult?

To be honest, I'm not entirely sure how many miles the engine has on it. "Not Actual Mileage" title -- if I had to put a number on it, based on the carfax I would say 40k.
