You guys should ohm out your circuit, if you're blowing a 60A fuse, there is likely a short.

If need be I'll snap some of the TS manual this evening.
I have the 2000-2003 Service Manual. On page 11-148 there is a picture that looks like it might be what I’m asking about but it doesn’t say what it is.

Thanks!

That cable is for your starter. The cable on the right in the imagine in the battery source for that fusebox. The Air pump wiring exits from the bottom of that fusebox.

I dont think that is related to SAI , it is probably a EGR related solenoid.

Not the same part as from the photo.

So while on a conference call I multitasked and thumbed through the Service Manual. Pretty sure the extra item on my ‘03 is the Intermittent Wiper Relay. So, now that mystery has been solved, back to fixing my P0410. SM says to “Repair short in the wire between AIR PUMP (60A) fuse and the air pump. Then replace the AIR PUMP (60A) fuse.” I’m assuming the only way to find that is to take the bumper off. If there is something I should do before undertaking that would be appreciated.

I guess start checking for shorts and continuity issues with the starter hook-up & wiring.

No need for anything with the starter it is not wired to the load side of the fuse that is blowing.

So I’ll put a wrap on this thread. I ended up not seeing anything wrong with any of the wiring so I just went ahead and plugged the replacement in. Turned the car on and heard it come on and the fuse didn’t blow. I know I could have done the delete but I got a deal on the used air pump and I like things the way they were meant to be.
