on my 00 s2k, i am getting the p1509 error on my CEL. The symptoms are that when it's cold, it idles very rough bouncing between about 1 and 2k rpm. after i have two bars of engine temp, i can shut down the engine and start it up again and all is well.

how should i go about troubleshooting this? I'm trying to be as educated as possible before i take it to the dealer.

Replace the IAC. That's my best guess.

This thread is on how to clean it. I was told once they "code" (store a DTC) like mine did with P1519 you are probably going to have to replace it. I tried to clean mine first, then replaced it when that did not fix problem. I think I paid around $130.00 for the Honda Part # 36460-PCX-003.
