[B]hecash, I think GM is used to this sort of thing, Honda on the other hand seems to be a "deer in headlights" over these issues, completely lost.

Mine blew at 30,000 , no warranty cause of SCer . Possible cause : A piece of metal broke and traveled through the motor , causing #3 cylinder failure . I sold my old block already .

Where can I get more info on these pending lawsuits against Honda? Like most threads I've seen, consumers are stuck with a blown motor (redline once which is considered abuse) and Honda denying our warranty.

For my sake, I made up this new screen name so they wouldn't use it against me. I may just add another lawsuit against them and report their actions to the BBB.

Here are my questions: this is a freaking sports car built with 8.2k or 9k rev limit. It's a performance motor that can handle the rough driving of hitting our rev limit. You're telling me that if I mis-shift, I'm abusing the motor? Don't they have R&D that shows how much or how long the engine can handle past the rev limit? Surely if I over-rev(abuse) for no more than 3 sec, there should be some kind of warning to consumers that "if you over rev-you're f#cked" in the manual? Why not set the rev limit down to 6k and 7k to prevent the consumer from having this accident (abuse).
