Popping out of third gear on decel
So I was out driving spiritedly through the mountains last night when I started to notice that the car wouldn't stay in third gear. It was fine under acceleration, but under engine braking it was very easy to pull the lever back to neutral (1-finger easy), and under decel and braking it would sometimes just pop out on it's own. None of the other gears exhibited any of the same symptoms.
Recent work done on the car includes Megan Racing motor mounts, ACT HD clutch, CDV delete, and Comp 9lb flywheel. Could something have been adjusted improperly when I put everything back? The clutch pedal has been adjusted per the FSM.
Thanks,
Parker

I think there maybe a Honda Technical Service Bulletin on this problem. It maybe model-year specific. Quick Google got: TSB #05-009.

My 02 will pop out of 4th upon decel sometimes. I haven't bothered to look into getting it fixed.
It's annoying, but it only happens if I'm cruising under 50mph and it only happens sometimes. Just shift to third or fifth, right? I believe I saw somewhere on the forums that there was a TSB for the AP1s that were popping out of gear.
Not sure if it's related to your issue, just my two cents.
Hope this helps.
