Possible to buy new engine with warranty from Honda for a swap?
I called my local Honda dealer about an F22C. According to them, Honda doesn't sell a complete assembled engine with warranty. They said one would have to purchase an engine from shops online (remanufactored/repaired engines or salvaged vehicles) and they could install it. Can anyone confirm this?
I heard the F20/F22C were hard to rebuild properly due to small tolerances. So rebuilding one could still have a problem from an improper build. Buying a new engine from the factory would avoid this, although more expensive. do it once, do it right?
What are our options of buying a complete engine (head and block assembled)

Yes, consider this confirmed. Honda only sells the F22C as an assembled short block and head kits (some assembly required). The remaining parts needed to build a swap would have to be bought separately and assembled.
If you already own an S2000 and have a bad motor and head, you can buy the two parts above from the dealer. They install easily and is not that hard to do right, assuming you can read the Factory Shop Manual.
If you want to buy a complete F22C swap, I.E. Drop in Motor, it is going to be form a salvage car. That is you ONLY option.
