Can anyone who has gone from stock (205) to 225 fronts [or who is just generally brilliant -- please identify which :)] discuss how much camber can be used to retain balance. What might be the suggested baseline change in front camber? half a degree? more?

Front:
Camber -1.5

It all about the trade-offs baby

Hi Allan,
I do the same, all the time on RA1s. I'd like to compare notes, do your tires whine? Mine do, I guess too much heat cycling. I think I'm gonna get as much mileage from the RA1s, as I did from the OE SO2s.

JSchmidt,
Neither, but that was very astute of you! 225s up front with the stock alignment settings maybe a better setup, thanks. :)

Luis,
Don't keep us in suspense. What does Honda UK recommend?

Off topic, any updates on those Hondasport spring/shocks? I'm surprised it hasn't taken off! I'm "on the fence" waiting for more feedback. To you racers and/or "cone-dodgers":D out there, these springs/shocks are considered stock parts, right?!?

RT,
Amen.

I'm not Luis, but here you go:

If anyone wants to find out more about what UK owner's who've switched to the new recommended alignment, do a search in the UK Forums. While there is some info under nice thread headings, we're a friendly informal bunch so anything can, and does turn up anywhere! :p

Thanks for answering. I was thinking either stock or neutral camber. Any other opinions from the experienced or the insightful?

Yeah Spoon, my RA1s whine; not too bad though. It is just tread pattern related tire noise, nothing to worry about. I've heard that the 032 Yokos whine too. In my opinion, it's not a bad trade off for all of that grip. I've got three track days and 2,000 steet miles on mine and they're only about 1/2 gone! I'm pleased.

Previous alignment: springs, shocks, and sway bars all stock; Spoon wheels with their low offsets, A032Rs 205/245:

Car with good turnin but significant oversteer with throttle application at corner exit.

Front:
Camber -1.0
