Propeller/Drive Shaft grease seal leak.

Propeller/Drive Shaft grease seal leak.
While I was doing rear brake inspection on my 03 yesterday I noticed that grease has been spinning off from my propeller shaft at the rear flex joint where it connects before the differential (134,000 miles). Looks like fairly recent occurrence. Have not heard of this before and I have owned car for 13 yrs now. A Honda service tech told me it's a "hydraulic" type seal & compared it to fluid filled motor mounts. I have not noticed any vibration or anything when driving and I just drove Sebring race track last month. What can I expect to experience before failure. How long will it last. You can't see anything worn or cracked at the joint, just that grease has been slung and radiating directly outwards on underside of car. I'm hoping I can find a used replacement shaft. The part numbers are the same for 00-03. Then in 04-09 the last 3 digits change from 024 to A02. Is the AP1 shaft different than the AP2's? The new OEM price is the same for all years. Any input or guidance is appreciated. I am aware of paint markings to match when removal and have done so when I did an 05 engine swap about 5 years ago. Thank you.

^^ its the rear UJ on prop, not the half shaft boot.

Yes, I know. There is a grease repack diy with boot replacement for propshaft. The propshaft uses cv joints, just like the half shafts. They are removable. The propshaft has a splined shaft on each end, front and rear.
