Looks like you need the OEM cat. Or hide the Berk under OEM heatshields.

The Berk uses a Magnaflow core. They weld pipes onto the generic core with flanges so its bolt on to our cars.

What it seems you really want though is a good used stock cat. Should be able to find one for around $150. Look on Craigslist. Look in the Marketplace forum here.

[QUOTE=iCrap;24215908]So, there is this. I don't even get how it's so cheap. Unless its just fake
For 2000-2009 Honda S2000 T-304 Stainless Exhaust Catalytic Converter Cat Pipe

It's a test pipe. See how they put it in the description:
Other Part Number: Hi Straight Test Pipe Bolt On

Berks are real cats
"
High flow metallic substrate catalytic converters, OBDII & 49 state compliant. Full stainless steel construction. Our test data shows that this cat flows 87% as well as a test pipe vs. 43% for the OEM Cat. Smog legal, high flow, no test pipe smell. You can have it all...."
Do you live in Cali?

I don't really get the difference between 63.5 and 70mm, still have to figure that out and pros and cons.

Think of it like pouring water. If you have a large cylinder full of water and want to pass it through another cylinder if the second cylinder is smaller there will be a backup and all the contents will not be able to flow through at the same time. You don't want to cause a bottleneck so you try to keep the same size pipes all the way back for the best flow.

Glad you picked that up 49 state legal sounds good. Maryland counts as one of those.

OK, so if i read that right, the berks is totally legal for use in MD? If so, that's great. I'll order one 63mm one right now.

Random update, put the EVS tuning cat in (berks is backordered everywhere) and passed inspection no more smell also.
