Rear diff clunking

Rear diff clunking
Hi guys, soo, I just bought a 05 s2k. When I try and grab 1st from a standstill I hear my rear diff grabbing. While not moving this clunk happens if I grab any gear , clearly while driving a really cannot hear the clunk. What could this be, is it a common problem? I searched with no results
