rear wheel bearing click with no history - torque or replace?
For AP2s with wheel bearing click but low miles (60k) and no history, is it better to replace the bearing right away, or try to retorque the axle nuts first? Obviously with no history, you have no idea how much damage has been done...
Also, I've read ideas such as putting axle spacers on or drilled and slotted rotors to extend the bearing life. Is there any consensus if this works?

Super easy too do the torque. Recent thread on it. Most of the time it will eliminate the clicking. There may be some scouring but the re-torque should freeze it.
Pay attention to Billman's post.
