reducing IM vacuum lines to EVAP canister purge valve?
Hi, I'm going to upgrade my 2002 AP1 Intake Manifold to a skunk2 ultra race. Of all the various vacuum lines connecting to the stock AP1 IM I'm hopeful I don't actually need 2 vacuum lines connecting to an intermediate T that then connects to the EVAP canister purge valve. Seems weird that 2 connections into a T are needed. Can I just run a single vacuum line from my new skunk2 IM direct to the EVAP canister purge valve?

The reason there are two connections is to get an even distribution of fuel vapors between the cylinders.
I'm sure it's possible to just use one but some cylinders might run a bit richer.

But now I need to come to terms with whether EVAP purge is even working with my AEM Infinity. Given that I have periodic AFR swing issues, and reading this thread, it could imply EVAP purge is enabled.

The 506 unit does not have enough spare LS drivers to control the EVAP.
We do not have plans to add the control at this time.

Charcoal canister will get saturated with fuel and you will probably get a pretty bad fuel smell, might even get problems filling up the tank.
All this talk about Infinity being state-of-the-art engine control unit, still it can't control a basic function like this

I found this post that speaks to using this device to fix the issue:
TPV6
Though I'm left not quite understanding how that valve gets wired to the tank's "small hose" given that I thought this is an inline valve (meaning it acts as a pass through, with a hose connected to both ends?)

Can you elaborate on what exactly you did? Did you cap the line that goes into the EVAP canister purge valve?
Or are you saying you removed everything (canister et al) and put a vent and pressure valve on the 2 lines going to the fuel tank?

Yeah it can probably take a really long time before charcoal canister gets full.
If the car sits for extended periods it might even escape some vapors and replenish it's life?

with ITBs i basically removed all vacuum hoses except for the brake booster, throttles, and fuel pressure regulator. i left the canister there, just removed the solenoid. i dont remember if i capped it or not but I would assume i left it open
couple dudes i know removed the canister all together and put their fuel surge pump there
