Resetting ECU on 07
Just curious why on my 07 pulling the backup fuse suggested in the DIY's never clears my testpipe CEL but disconnecting the battery always seems to work.
I pull the right fuse... is this just a late ap2 thing?

From what I understand, 06+ models have about 98% chance of getting a CEL with a test pipe, even with the O2 simulator. On AP1s for example, you'll never get a CEL for that.
AP2 owners please correct me if im wrong.

In my experience, the AP2 ECU is very fast reacting and the CEL will turn off almost immediately after you fix the problem that caused it. If you unplug the battery, the CEL will turn of for about 30 miles, but come back on when the ECU realizes there is a problem.
I don't know if my test pipe is causing a CEL because my CEL LED is burned out XD
