Car Analogy

I concur that a well written set of instructions will attempt to foresee the ways in which the written text could be misinterpreted or misunderstood, and make efforts to prevent that from happening.

Even when I write a simple email to one person I do that. Let alone a post to a whole forum, or a document meant to endure for many years. How might the reader misunderstand what I wrote?

The trick of course, is to do so while still remaining brief. Something I continually find challenging...
