I am still disputing my charge with Ballade Sports. I have attempted twice now to send the part to them only to have USPS send it back as undeliverable. Alex at Ballade is not responding to my emails. At this point if the credit card company won't refund me my money then I will file a suit against Ballade Sports in small claims court in California.

Turns out Ballade DID receive my package and sent it back to me unopened?!? They're still not responding to my emails but I was able to contact my credit card company and they said that they were going to refund my money because I did request a refund and returned the item. So hopefully this nightmare is over and I've got a faulty TCT laying around now.

It's called a chargeback, and it's one of the benefits of using a credit card (over cash, check, debit):

I understand that. If you are dealing with a reputable, established business --- you shouldn't have to call your credit card company, in order to get a refund. Either the business is slipping or something maybe missing, in this picture.

Yes I did, Alex stopped returning my phone calls and emails when I demanded a refund due to the poor customer service I was receiving. The only way to get my money back was to go to the credit card company.

Update: Credit card company refunded my money. I've tried contacting Alex at Ballade to return the TCT back to him but he hasn't responded to my emails. If he doesn't respond by middle February I'm going to sell it.

Why would you sell it? I thought it was no good, just throw it away and call it a lesson learned. Dont subject someone else to the same poor quality product.
