Where you sounded a little confused was the statement about a CAI for a S/C. The 2 available kits for the S2000 (Comptech and Vortech) already draws its air from a "cool" source. The Vortech comes standard with an aftercooler and the Comptech can be had with an optional aftercooler, therefore, a CAI is superfluous. But since even the non intercooled Comptech draws its air from the hole at the side of the engine bay, in effect, it already comes with its own CAI. In fact, the airbox for the Comptech supercharger kit is very similar to the Comptech CAI for a NA car.

With ITBs, it would take some ingenuity to completely seal off all 4 intakes for force feeding. ITBs for this car can be quite a trick to tune to make it run right. It seems like everyone knows of someone who has these on their S2000 but in the time since these were first brought to our attention, not many actual owners of them (if any) have come forward to say how they perform on a daily basis. Putting a blower on them might make tuning even more of a challenge.

the friend i am talking about is pacman that had the itb's on his s2k. i believe he posted his video on this board as well as honda tech. i heard itb's can be very hard or actually ARE hard to tune. i never got to talk to pacman (art) about how he tuned his car but i am in the process of trying to get a hold of him.

As far as I recall, pacman's car was not particularly well tuned. He posted a video of the car running, but he never posted any dyno charts. He ended up selling the kit to turbo_pwr, who proceeded to have the car tuned and dyno'd (by one of the best tuners on this board, IIRC), and from what I could tell, the ITBs didn't make any power. Unfortunately, he didn't have a good baseline dyno for comparison, so it's really hard to say.

You'll have to ask turbo_pwr for details. I assume the kit included whatever comes from Jenvey in their ITB kits. Primarily, just the ITBs themselves.
