Nibreezy

I just regreased my shifter with hi tempt urea grease and replaced my pivot cap, the other plastic piece, and the spring. I greased the whole assembly and the spring very thoroughly. However, whenever I start driving the car, I hear a ringing noise between 3-4K RPMs. It goes away after 5 mins of driving. What’s going on?

This "ringing" only started happening, after you re-greased the shifter? Interesting.

I guess, you can first double check all parts you removed are now tight, again. Good luck!
