Some quick questions regarding my engine flutter
 

Hey guys as some of you know ive had some faint engine fluttering noise. Some of you guys suggested exhaust leak, so im gonna pull the header tomorow and check the gasket for any burn marks. I know the test pipe isnt leaking because ive replaced it with an invidia and checked it multiple times. Plus its definitely coming from closer to the bay. Im also gonna do a compression test. Now my question about the compression test is. If i had a bad bearing would that lead to lower compression? Also what is the proper way to comp test? Pull the fuel pump fuse? I may even get back in there and check the valve clearence one more time. Is there anything else i can check while im working on the car tomorow?

The proper way is to unclip the injectors and make sure the engine is warm. As long as you have consistent numbers you should be fine
