My pleasure, Barry! Btw, I couldn't torque one of the STB nuts when installing the first generation Comptech STB; the brace got in the way of using the socket.

and yes it does matter it seems. Josh3io had one of the bolts sheer on his X-Brace.

btw - it's one of the easiest installs (perhaps after only the STB) of all time.

I had mine installed yesterday. I agree with many of you that the car is more stable and the front end is more responsive....

I also have the RM Racing STB installed, I feel that it is complimenting the rigid responsivness better than it did when it was installed alone.

Two thumbs...up for the spoon x-bar...

Anyone know if spoon make something similar to the x-bar for the rear end...

most folks have reported that upgrades to the rear stabilizer have negligable at best results. while the stock rear stabilizer doesn't *look* good, it seems to *work* fine.

my x-brace issue was just that the last hole was out of position by 1-2mm and the mechanic had to use a prybar to get it to line up to be able to thread the bolt. i'm afraid the threads in the boltholes might be gone.

when i broke a bolt i was retightening a bolt at 15 lbs-ft that was spec'd in the manual as 22 (about) and it snapped. turns out that was a part of the motor mount.
