Spring questions
I was wondering what kind of springs people have on there S2000?
I was lookin into buying the Eibach springs are the worth the money? I live in Chicago and it has bad roads would dropping my car another inch really matter? Does the handling get better with springs or worse?.. (my friend got his intergra lowered and the handling is all messed up..) Which springs would work the best for the S2000 for daily driving? Thanks :rev: :hello: :drive: :) |

Stock ones, of course. On the opposite scale (using aftermarket springs and stock shocks), you've got KG/MM Race springs. I wouldn't recommend them if you're looking for comfort...they over double the stock spring rate. Dropping your car an inch isn't as important as the spring rate... Instead of going into all the subtle (and some not so subtle) nuances of modifying your suspension, let me say this.... Go with the KG/MM Sport springs (the install will prob. cost more than either spring set unless you do it yourself) if you want better handling and lower ride height without being too harsh....I'm sure the H&R or the Eibachs are good, too. You're not going to have as plush a ride, though....trade off's, man. After the install, get a proper alignment done....you won't suffer the same problems your friend did. |
thanks alot

I installed H&R lowering springs...dropped about .75" I also aligned the car to the UK recommended specs. The car looks and handles great...Good luck.
