Squeaking Clutch After Install
My s2000 has been making a squeaking noise ever since i installed the clutchmaster FX300. It is driving me nuts. Sounds like a loose bolt and gets faster/higher pitched as I accelerate. It also does it when reving on idle. I checked the Below is a video of what it sounds like. This is not my car but it appears this person had the same issue. What do you think this could be? I am sure everything was torqued to spec.
Thank you!
Thank you!

Sounds like a bearing either pilot or release.

You getting this noise with your foot off the clutch pedal? Or fully applying the pedal (all the way down)?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I was hoping the noise was caused during clutch off/on but it appears the sound does not go away in either case. I guess ill just have to live with it.
Here's what it actually sounds like:

Throw-out bearing usually changes noise, as you apply the clutch pedal. You can sometimes feels the "roughness" on the pedal, as you are depressing it. The pilot bearing noise should go away, once clutch pedal is released. Right?

The pilot bearing is supporting the snout on the transmission input shaft against the flywheel. It'll make noise regardless if it's bad, but so can the release bearing.
