Default tct or valve adjustment? cylinder 4 misfire

hey new member here. i provided a link to a video of my car running after being warmed up. the noise to me sounds like a tct or valve adjustment. im also getting a random cylinder misfire and a cylinder 4 misfire ever week and a half or so. the car drives and feels normal so im thinking it might need a valve adjustment. the vehicle has 167k miles and i dont know when the valves were last adjusted. spark plugs are about 2 months old each coil has its spark car drives normal

Do the valve adjustment asap. If its an '06+, you may burnt exhaust valves. These models run leaner and exhaust hotter, and exhaust valve seats take a beating if valve adjustment isn't done sooner than Honda manual suggests.

Check valve clearances asap. What year is your car?

By looking at the video, the engine is an F20C. I would check the valve clearance as mentioned above, does not sound as distinctive as TCT failure.

Based on reading on these S2ki pages about disasters caused by out of adjustment tight valves on these cars, (mostly ap2s), I have myself on a 30K mile valve adjust schedule. Its not hard to do, keeps me connected with my car, and saves a lot of heart ache. Also, I have mine (ap1) adjusted on the tight side of the oem spec, so I don't want to let them go as long as the Honda manual allows. Its not worth the risk. My car runs beautifully - so far.

ok so i did the valve adjustment on sunday and the car's been running fine and sounding fine . i hear the tct rattle a bit more, im waiting for my billman tct to arrive in the mail. this morning tho the check engine came back and it was a misfire cylinder 4. same code that keeps coming up the plugs are less than 2000miles new ive swapped coils and it keeps coming back to that 1 cylinder. the only thing i havent done yet is swap injectors to see if that varies. ive noticed it only comes on in the morning when the car is warming up. any ideas???

Before skipping to the tct which may not be needed here, its possible it could be an injector so you will want to mark it to the current corresponding cylinder in this case #4 if that's were you are getting the misfire, and now swap it with #3, re set the ecu and see if the misfire moves to cylinder 3. If it does you know you have a bad injector, if not, you know its still likely valve related, either burnt or bent valve. In which case you will want to do a leak down test to confirm that.

I will try the injectors and see if the misfire jumps. The tct is leaking oil and rattling when warm especially after the valve adjustment. I took some pics of the retainers they looked fine

This is the intake side

This is the exhaust side
