Tensioner pulley, idler pulley, and serpentine belt. What brand?
Hey, I have a little squeak at idle on and off. I havnt took off the belt yet to check which pulley it is but I'm going to replace the belt, both tensioner and idler pulley. Which belt do you guys use? Hondas belt is 80bucks!
I heard many use gatorback. Are gates pulleys fine?
Part #s and website to buy from would be great! Thanks.

Hi I recently upgraded to a Toda Pulley kit with new OEM belt (Great kit but I'm guess overkill for what you looking at doing) when I was inspecting my belt before the upgrade I could tell it was noisier than it should be, the easiest way to tell between the idler and tensioner pulley is to CAREFULLY put a long screw driver up against the stationary center bolt.
In my case I could not hear(ear up against the screwdriver handle) or feel and vibration coming from my idler pulley but heaps from the tensioner, so I ended up changing the tensioner at the same time as the toda gear and that fixed the noise and vibration on the centre bolt (FYI if you change the tensioner pulley its bolt is reverse threaded.
hope this helps a little.
So now running original OEM idler, new OEM Tensioner, new OEM belt and TODA alt water and crank Pulleys.

Did you check the indicator on the tensioner to see if the belt is in or out of spec?
If spending money on a OEM belt is too much money, why change the tensioner and pulley? Given how long they last, I think the OEM belt is worth the money.

My belt has been on the car for 11 years and has 83K miles on it. i looked it over and it looks in finbe shape. Should it be replaced due to the cars age or?? No idea what the mileage interval for the belt is....

There is an indicator for stretch on the tensioner. My OEM belt was on for 216K, only changed it due to stretch in which I was pass the indicator for a couple years. No cracking. I went OEM for the replacement.
